I love this bar, whether I come alone or with friends! They have an indoor and outdoor area with plenty of seating however, we keep in mind that it is a bar and can get pretty crowded. The bar is in an industrial area, that can be kind of nice because there's always plenty of parking available.

All I can say is GREAT establishment! The staff was so inviting, my wife and I were blown away. From security to the bar staff, they did not miss on the customer service. The decor is definitely speakeasy style with the low lighting to add to the ambiance. Add to the fact that their drinks are top flight, patronizing this place should be on the top of your list when in the DTSJ area. *tips* The Palomas and Moscow Mules on tap are FIRE and try copping a squat in the back booths. They make you feel like a VIP!

Love the seasonal drinks. They are beautiful and have unique taste. Pictures were from summer and fall visits. It tends to get packed and loud.

First time going to Haberdasher. This was a little difficult to find, but the challenge made it worth. They had pretty unique drinks that were seasonal. Unfortunately I could not get a picture of them. It was dark inside. I'd come for the ambiance. The staff are really nice and informative. Restrooms are clean. Seating may be tough to get when busy.

This unassuming bar will surprise you with its attention to detail. When you walk in, you'll feel like you're transported to the 1920s. Leaning on the prohibition era and Chaplin aesthetic, this basement speakeasy has employees wearing bowler hats, mustaches, and ties. Their cocktails have cute, themed names, and even their light fixtures "wear" hats! Even though the bar can get quite busy, I appreciate how guests know to keep their volume down. My group tried three cocktails: Hunting Season, Tie Tea, and Pagoda. Hunting Season was a bit too strong for me. There was nothing to mask the alcohol and bitterness. Admittedly, it just wasn't the right drink for me, but I appreciated the presentation of it! The Tie Tea and Pagoda were both delicious, though! The sweetness of the oak syrup adds a slightly nutty flavor that pairs nicely with the Thai tea and coffee jelly. The half-and-half adds some body to create a very fulfilling and enjoyable drink when mixed with espresso liqueur, rum, and vodka. The uniqueness of the Pagoda really blew me away! It was the most beautiful drink among the three. I was intrigued by the basil oil floating on top of it. It's a light and refreshing drink that almost tastes like an alcoholic basil lemonade. This was my favorite drink of the night!

I wouldn't call this hidden or a speakeasy because it's easily accessible from the street. Although there's no name on the outside, just a logo of a hat and tie. For sure speakeasy vibe. The servers are all dressed in true Haberdasher theme with a measuring tape around their neck. Inside has the dim underground lighting. We stopped for one drink and I couldn't make up my mind. So many great choices. We got Pagoda and Putter Up. The Pagoda has the green basil drops that almost look like mold!..haha very tasty. The Putter Up was with scotch. Too strong for me. They have tables, booths and high top tables. There's a glass case in the back full of high end premium spirits. You can join $25 monthly membership to get 5 rare tastings a month.

4.5 STARS Date: Saturday, September 7th, 2024 Time: around 6:30pm Party of: 5 After a super late lunch, my friends and I decided to stop by Haberdasher. I adore speakeasy type bars, so this was definitely up my alley. Since we were celebrating my birthday, I already had a fair amount to drink before we arrived. I believe it was pretty easy to get in and find a table. They do card at the door, so have your ID on hand, I know I got a manhattan. I recall it being nicely balanced. Judging from pic, the three boys all got old fashioneds. My gf is more of vodka drinker when there's no wine around, so I think she got a vodka and tonic or soda. Looks like we also got some almonds. Not sure if someone ordered them or if they were complimentary. We were here for a good 2 hours and I wanted to stay longer. Definitely a fun spot if you enjoy your cocktail bars. REVIEW #3557
